Your home is your castle, shouldn’t be secured that way.  This approximately 5 hour class will cover home defense strategies to include things like making a defense plan, what a safe room should include, landscaping and lighting etc.  It will discuss techniques to make it harder for intruders to break in and in the end what you can do to make it easier to obtain your firearm.  This class will help you improve your security posture. 

NRA Personal protection in the home

Normally a Basic pistol class is the pre-requisite to taking this class. This is a course that is specifically geared toward the use of deadly force in the home.  It also covers things that you can do to improve your homes security as well as shooting around barricades and rapid up close shooting. 

United states concealed carry (uscca) - home defense fundamentals

Home Defense Fundamentals is a course to focus on protection while inside your home.  The course is a guide to understanding how to develop a personal and home protection plan; self-defense firearm basics; defensive shooting fundamentals; the legal use of force; violent encounters and their aftermath; gear and gadgets; and basic and advance skills.  There is an option for training using laser pistols and a simulator system.   

hands on home defense & Simulator training

This class will be a hands on learning class to learn how to carry and present your firearm in a home defense situation.  Specific training modules of a state of the art simulator will be utilized that to improve your skills to include point shooting.  Simulation also involves Video Scenario Trainer which uses real video and is interactive to record shots.  Simulations will reinforce the information learned in the USCCA Home Defense Fundamentals Course.  Highly recommend to take these together.
